Joint Stock Company "Askiya dehkan market" was established according to the Decree of the Governor of Yakkasaray district of Tashkent city No1104 of May 29, 1996. The legal form of the organisation is a joint stock company (JSC), the amount of authorised capital (fund) is 617,299 million soums. Of these, Khokimiyat of Tashkent city makes 96.03% (592,799 million soums) and 566 citizens make up 3.97% (24.5 million soums). There are 337 stalls on the market, where all types of agricultural, wet fruits, meat and legumes are sold at affordable prices. In total, sale of all types of food and non-food products is organised in 284 stable trade outlets.
